Excited to announce… we’re under new ownership!

The new owners of The Stardust are made up of a group of family and friends. You'll most often see KimBerly around town walking her yellow lab, Gwen. She comes from an Air Force family and as a result has has more than a few states "she's from" (Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado and California). Her mom, Donna, currently lives in Indio CA. KimBerly and her husband, Gary live in Placerville CA (also known as Gold Country) where Gary is professional winemaker. KimBerly has a full time consulting job when she's not at the motel and since grapes are not very moveable, KimBerly and Gary plan to split their time between the beautiful Silver Valley and Gold Country.

KimBerly's family and friends supported her dream of buying a cool retro motel so when she found the Stardust in 2021 it was a perfect match.. They officially took ownership on January 7 2022. Their plan is to honor and protect all things iconic about The Stardust as they love her retro-ness. They'll be giving her a good refresh inside over the next several months looking to get ready for the Summer. The staff will continue to be onsite full time year round to create a memorable guest experience as the Stardust enters her next evolution.
