Pawprints & Polaroids: Our Doggone Good Adventure in Wallace

Day 1: Wallace or Bust! 🚗🐶

We started our journey like any good road trip should—with our heads out the window, tongues flapping in the breeze, and only minor disagreements about which podcast to listen to. (Milly’s into true crime; I prefer squirrel documentaries.)

Our humans? Totally along for the ride. They think they planned this trip, but let’s be honest—it’s our vacation. Destination: Wallace, Idaho, and the legendary Stardust Motel, where the neon glows, the rooms are retro-cool, and most importantly… dogs are more than welcome—we're celebrated. 🎉🐾

Touchdown at Stardust: Where Paws Meet Pillowtop 🐕

We rolled up in our convertible Beetle, ears still wind-whipped and spirits high. Stardust’s neon sign lit up like a Hollywood premiere just for us. We strutted into our room—mid-century modern meets Mad Men but make it bark-friendly—and were immediately obsessed.

A wall mural so cool even Memphis paused mid-sniff. Retro mini fridge? Perfect for storing emergency hot dogs. Vintage tile bathroom? You better believe we each did zoomies in there.

Day 2: Small Town, Big Vibes 🐾☕

Morning hike? Don’t mind if we do. We hit a local trail just outside of town, tails high and noses to the ground. The smells out here? Top-tier. Deer tracks, pine, and what we swear was ghost pepper jerky someone dropped last week.

Afterward, we hit up a coffee shop patio in town—Milly got a pup cup, and I licked a latte foam heart before anyone noticed. The locals gave us chin scratches and told us we were "the cutest tourists they'd seen all day." Obviously.

Evening Shenanigans: Firepit & Tennis Ball Frenzy 🔥🎾

Back at the motel, our squad gathered on the big lawn around the firepit. While the humans roasted marshmallows and swapped stories, we did what dogs do best—zoomies and an epic game of frisbee under the stars. Milly made some seriously impressive mid-air catches (she’s been practicing), and I may have knocked over a lawn chair or two in hot pursuit, but that’s showbiz, baby.

Hitting the Road: Sniff Ya Later, Wallace

As we packed up and peeled out of the Stardust driveway (with a quick spin for the 'gram), we looked back at Wallace with doggy hearts full of joy.
